Simply place the Leak Alert in any area prone to flooding or leaks. The loud (90dB) alarm will sound upon direct water contact. Installation is easy with the requirement of a 9V battery, no wiring or hub needed. In the event of flooding, the Leak Alert will float and emit a loud audible signal. For optimal performance, the device includes a low battery warning - remember to check and replace the batteries annually.

The Leak Alert water detector is designed to sound a loud (90dB) alarm upon detecting even the slightest amount of moisture. In the case of floods, it will float and continue to emit an SOS alarm for up to 72 hours or until the battery runs out. This leak sensor operates fully on battery power, without the need for any wiring. Similar to smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a low battery warning will activate when it is time to replace the 9V battery.
